Hi

I'v just got my second 240GB SSD and wanted to RAID them and reinstall Windows. After reading 10 different guides I managed to set up the RAID and get on with the install. When I got to the point where you choose the drive you want to install the OS to the Windows Setup wont let me install to my RAID, so I loaded the RAID drivers off another USB and it still wont let me install...

Any RAID experts out there know what I'm doing wrong?

Assuming youre using the onboard Intel RAID you just need to download the drivers from here and put them on a USB stick or CD.

I'v tried that.

When I select the RAID "drive" i want to install to it says "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computers hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computers BIOS"

..., so I loaded the RAID drivers off another USB and it still wont let me install...

As it turns out, all I needed to do was updated my BIOS...
