I'm not quite following but its this simple for daisy chaining ARGB devices, assuming they have a male and female plug:

Motherboard/ARGB Controller <-> Device 1 <-> Device 2 <-> Device 3 and so on. There IS a limit to the number of LED's that can be controlled and the wattage but an LED strip and a couple fans should be fine.

Hello so I just installed artic p12 case fans and they are daisy chain able and I have a led rgb strip in my system that used to be plugged into a Ibuypower argb hub but my question is am I allowed to plug in the rgb strip into the daisy chain able cable the cable in the photo is the one from the attic fan also I have no idea anything else about the led strip just it’s argb because the cableIMG_7668.thumb.jpeg.71d90d3c5dbdc57e5293bb92f9890bb4.jpeg

Can you please clarify and elaborate?

Don't tell me to upgrade. I would've done so if I could.

You have RGB strip, that was plugged into a different hub,

and now you want to plug it into a different hub of similar function?

PCs I used before:

  1. Pentium G4500 | 4GB/8GB DDR4 2133Mhz | H110 | GTX 1050
  2. Ryzen 3 1200 3,5Ghz / OC:4Ghz | 8GB DDR4 2133Mhz / 16GB 3200Mhz | B450 | GTX 1050

I removed the hub and am wondering if I can plug in the led strip into the argb connector that is on my fan that is meant for daisy chaining rgb fans

In your hand is the male end of the ARGB connector from the fan. That would need to plug directly into a controller/motherboard or the female plug on another ARGB device that's already plugged into the controller/motherboard to daisy chain off of it.

Oh yea there is a main cable then a male connector is also attached to it to daisy chain things and I’m wondering if it’s fine to plug the led strip into it

Did the strip have 3 or 4 pins? If it has 3 (2+1) pins like in your photo, it is ARGB and can be chained to the fans. However, a lot of strips are RGB with 4 pins, and those cannot. The strip won't work correctly.

ARGB is 5V and RGB is 12V. If your mobo has a 4-pin header, you can connect it to that, otherwise you'll need to get a hub.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂
