I have no idea if this belongs in the Videography section, probably not due to its nature. NO BUILT IN WATER PROOFING NEEDED.

I am working on an underwater ROV, which needs a camera. All my previous "attempts" had frankly terrible cameras. The project necessitates a decently wide angle FOV with little distortion, good video quality (all others absolutely horrendous, like worse than if I screen capped a 100 dollar phones camera app) as well as a way to easily stream video to an external computer, which will be around 15 meters away, and no noticable rolling shutter (was a problem with the others)

The price maximum is $120, which is why I've been unable to find a suitable option other than very terrible USB cameras.

Thanks for your help!

I have used e-con cameras before and was very happy with video quality and latency, but it seems out of your budget 😕 https://www.e-consystems.com/gige-cameras.asp?utm_source=breadcrumbs&utm_medium=Internal-links&utm_campaign=GigeCAM-Tracking

Thanks! I found some "cheaper options" that seem well enough on that site. I can probably replace the lense with a higher FOV.
