M2 drive not detected

Having issues, that ssd drive (PATRIOT P400 2TB M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4) installed in M2_1 slot not appearing in bios. Got led for DRAM is not detected. Tried changing settings in bios (board msi PROB650-SWIFI): gen for m2 slot and pcie lane configuration. I assuming the drive is compatible, since i choose all components based on suggestions from this forum.

First thing to do is try your SSD into another computer or with a usb adapter to make sure it works.

Maybe the SSD space is not allocated to a partition or the partition is not formatted.

Just some ideas.

The ssd stick was faulty. Just my luck.
