Zephyrus M16 keys not functioning properly

Hi guys,

So my laptop keyboard isn't working as it should..... almost as if the layout of a different keyboard installed onto it or the layout has been removed. The 4 dedicated keys on the laptop (2021 zephyrus M16) do not work anymore and their functions have dropped down to the function keys. So fn+F2,F3,F4 used to be keyboard brightness up, down and aura key. Now it's volume up, down and mic mute, F12 for airplane mode doesn't work as well and there are 2 touchpad drivers which are conflicting with each other.

Also when tapping the capslock key, instead of the indicator on the key to light up, the power indicator is now acting as a capslock indicator. Please help

Have you possibly spilled anything on our near the keyboard? 

 

If not it's be looking for videos to check the ribbon cable for the keyboard maybe you'll be lucky and a reseat will fix it, but it sounds like a short in the keyboard.

No I havent. nothing has spilled on the laptop. To be precise, its almost as if theres a different keyboard layout on the laptop. And I think theres a missing driver which controls the macro keys and let it be detected by armory crate.
