vRealize Log Insight

hi,

 

i need to increase the disk in my vRealize log insight Virtual Appliance.

i have one disk for the operating system (20GB)  and anther for the data (600GB) i wont to increase the data dick to 1TB.

according VMware i need to add anther disk bat clued  i just increase the current one? will it affect the logs or the system?

No, the only supported option is adding another virtual disk. Adding a new 400GB will give you 1TB total. I can't remember if I have done it the unsupported way and just extended the existing disk but honestly it's not worth the hassle if something goes wrong, there aren't too many down sides to multiple virtual disks for a VM unless it's a lot.
