I'm upgrading from a 3060ti and have the options to buy a 4070 or a 7800xt, what do you guys think is better? Prices for them here are basically equal, my PSU is 550 Watts, with two 6+2 pins for the GPU, 1080p monitor and a 12400f, planning to get a 1440p monitor further in the future

my main concern is the PSU and potential driver problems with AMD

no problems with AMD, the PSU however depends what it is for how good it is quality wise

another question would be if you even need the upgrade, 3060ti is pretty fast even today unless you play some games that are heavy on GPU

really? In tests, I've seen the 7800xt draw about 260 Watts, and my 3060ti already draws 220-230. Is the extra 60 Watts so big of a deal? Also, I can probably under volt it until I get a better PSU
