How much would you be paying for the card and what's your use case?

Unless you need the VRAM a 4060 should provide a similar performance uplift while using less power.

It also has the advantage of modern drivers, modern features (DLSS/FG) and thus much better support in recent games.

You should also mention the rest of your components. Motherboard is less of a concern than the PSU is.

Remember to either quote or @mention others, so they are notified of your reply

4060 will be way more expensive though a used 6700xt may not be that far fetched and itd leave the 4060 in the dust, or just a used 3060 thatd be outright cheaper with extra vram and not much of a performance diff between it and the 4060

what country and price for that titan xp? a used 6700xt would outperform it so unless you are getting it at gtx 1080 prices a 6700xt would be a better choice

board isnt a concern for compatibility since pcie is backwards compatible though what particular board is it? ivy should have gen3 support though i think there are some gen2 1155 boards and that may have abit of an impact on performance as its effectively a gen4x4 link so 6600(xt) and any x8 cards are out of the question if the 6500xt is anything to go by (performance goes to shit even on gen3 link eff gen4x2), so its only abit of a concern for performance, oh and if it happens to be a z board clock that bclk to 105 and see if the rams can do 2400-2800 so cpu perf wont suck

model of psu? send pic of the wattage table thatll give a rough estimate on quality, 12v single rail with more than 100w diff to psu advertised rating or lowend multirail are trash units especially the multirails
