GPD win 1 support

I recently bought a GPD win 1 from the LTT garage sale that they put on. The first thing i did when i got home was reset it through windows just to make sure it was a clean install. Anyways, big mistake. Now, the wifi, bluetooth, and battery indicator just dont work. I downloaded and installed these drivers 

but it didnt fix the problem

 

Does anyone have any ideas on what might help?

 The 1 is not windows 11 compatible. The only way people have somewhat gotten it to work is to use windows 10 (iot) ltsc, trick windows in allowing the upgrade to windows 11 (iot) ltsc and and then there are mostly functional drivers.

 

Expect crap performance throughout as the win 1 was often used with windows 8 32 bit for performance reasons.

Ok so i figured out that the bluetooth works, im just stupid, but the wifi is a different story. In device manager is shows "broadcom 802.11ac" but when i go to properties, it says error code 10 device cannot start.

wait so is the win 1 32 bit?

No it's 64bit, but 32bit Windows is a bit lighter so that was a choice to squeeze a little more performance.

 

Can confirm Win11 is a no-go, 10 is fine though.

ok maybe ill try 32 bit windows, but i still cant get the wifi to work. any ideas?

Ok update, i got the wifi to work by uninstalling the network adaptor, no clue why that worked but im not complainiong. I still cant get the battery to show though. anybody have any ideas on that?

Ok update for the update for the update. I got everything working, just had to uninstall the drivers for the battery and the wifi and it just majically fixed itself for both of them.

Windows 11 32bit doesn't exist.

 

Use a supported os thats all you can do. the only way to get it working on 11 is by having a working windows 10 install.
