I've got the gigabyte a970 ud3p and i was wondering will i need an adapter to use wifi?

It would work, but it probably would not work good. I would not get it if you don't need just any Internet connection, I don't think it would cut it for some serious torrenting/gaming.

That's not a Wi-Fi adapter, it's for wired Ethernet.
