My question is how should I configure my fans, for now I have 2 intake one exhaust but I want to use the 2 at the top. Therefore my question is how should I configure it? The case is a fractal air pop mini

First of all, why? You want two intake fans. The current config should provide good positive pressure

Just buy 2 more fans, and put them at the top and keep the rest where they are.

no need fore more fans, simple as that

If you want better air flow with the current config, you can start by mounting the fans on the inside, instead of the outside, like so:

What CPU do you have ?

I'm pretty sure the DH-15 is pretty overkill all by istself, the 3 other fans helping air get out with positive pressure, so you don"t really need any more fans

If you really want to add them for looks put them top exhaust, but at slow speed to avoid negative pressure

and air steal, let me borrow @DoctorNick's schematic:

  • the arrows roughly indicate airflow
  • as you can see, while the extra fans do help with heat being pushed out of the heatsink and case, they also partially steal the fresh air coming from the front fans
  • additionally you'd end up with 3 exhaust 2 intake, which would introduce negative pressure that is more likely to cause faster dust buildup compared to positive pressure you currently have
  • or in other words, you have enough fans, no need for more

I would put an intake on top right in front of the CPU.

In my Meshify C it was awesome.

Is that a Canadian flag behind the case?

If you're going to add fans to the top, you have different options for how to configure it, but keep in mind what was said previously by @freeagentabout more dust with more exhaust than intake. Get a rechargeable PC vac-blower to clean up the pesky dust.

Alternatively, as pointed out above by @PDifolco, set the fan curves for the top fans to be weaker, or use weaker fans there.

And, then you can take the idea of an intake fan above the CPU (also @freeagent), and even combine it with an exhaust in the other position on top. Try both combos to see which works better.

Or, keep it as is. 🙂

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

Yes.

I trained a small gang of beavers to seek and destroy flagpoles small enough for them to take down, so I could collect my little prize 🙂

Edit:

Also, I am Canadian 🫡

It is quite impressive that you were able to accomplish that, you brave Canuck! 🙂
