NEW GPU

Go to solution Solved by Salted Spinach,

I'd be happy with the 4080 Super if it is within your budget

Although 7900XTX has better raw raster performance, this level of performance for 1440p allows for eye candy. A popular type of eye candy called raytracing has much lower performance cost with the 4080.

The extra VRAM over from the XTX is also of very limited benefit at 1440p

The 4080 also requires considerably less power and produces less heat than the XTX, even more so at partial load.

1440p

The minimum I'd look at for 1440p with the budget you have available is a 4070 Super or 7900 GRE.

They're both pretty powerful, can play any game at 1440p and are huge upgrades from the integrated graphics.

This video gives you an idea what they're capable of in current games:

RTX 4080 (Super) perhaps? Or RX 7900 XT(X)?

For 1440p they are very much enough.

4080S or 7900xtx if you can get it 150 EUR cheaper

Else 4070ti super and 7900xt are good, again get the 7900xt if it's 100 EUR below
