both of them and pretty over kill for 1080p but if you do plan to go pass it allot id say the 290

Overkill for now. Will be just fine later.

Tbh they perform pretty much the same at 1080p, they may be a bit overkill at this minute in time, but if you don't want to buy a new GPU within the next 4 years then they're fine. Basically just get whichever is cheapest :)
