I have read and tried everything in the FAQ. What happens if my PC boots , all fans spin up, but there's no display with or without the GPU. I have tried motherboard HDMI with and with out GPU. I have purchased a new CMOS, booted with and without CMOS battery installed. I also got new RAM and that didn't help. I have tried booting with a Windows recovery USB, and every combination of the 3 drives.

I have done everything except reseat the CPU. I haven't done this because the thermal paste I have is really old, IDK if its still good to use. The PC was working fine for years, but over the months its becoming less reliable.

I can't even get into the BIOS, the keyboard lights up but there's no video, I have tried both monitors and a TV, different HDMI cords, I even found that one HDMI cable was defective.

Still nothing 😕

It's 4690k (never OC), 1070, 32GB RAM, ASRock z97m pro4 mobo.

Any help us appreciated, I feel like less of a man because I'm considering taking into the shop that will cost as much as just replacing the whole PC minus the GPU at this point.

I would test a different PSU. I've had some units go bad on me through the years, and the symptoms sound like exactly what you describe - fans spin, lights come on, USB devices power up, but no POST or anything else.

Okay I just switched the psu and it's the same result 😕 so it would seem it's possibly the motherboard or CPU.

You could always try another CPU. 4th gen Intel chips are fairly cheap used these days.

Typically, a dead motherboard or CPU will result in either a POST code or the fans starting for one or two seconds, and then stopping.
