Hi, i just got a new monitor, LG 24GQ50F-B and i have the following problem. If i enable the FreeSync Premium from my monitor settings, every time I enter in fullscreen on a video on youtube, or every time I alt-tab from desktop/discord to a game that is in fullscreen, I have a freeze for 1-2 seconds, i can hear everything, even my mouse that is moving but my display is frozen. When I disable FreeSync Premium and I enable the 1ms mbr from my monitor settings, I didn't experienced this issue, only with the FreeSync enabled.

Should I play without it enabled? Because I kinda liked it with the freesync enabled. The thing is that I had no problems with an older monitor that had freesync.

I tried updating the graphics driver but it didn't help with anything. My specs are: i5 11400f, RX 6600XT, 16gb ddr4 ram

Are you using HDMI or Displayport with the display? I'd try the opposite of whichever you're using currently, DP generally being better.

I am using display port, I used the display port from the monitor box, and i tried with another display port, same issue

I would check through the monitor's on screen display to ensure things are enabled. If you're running at 165Hz, try 144Hz instead, I would even try flipping the DP cable around or another if you have one.

I will try running at 144hz, try another display port and I'll come back with a response

If you have 2 or more monitors, disable FreeSync for all but your main gaming monitor.

I have only one monitor, it's already more than 12 hours since i experienced the stutters, now it's working perfectly, i don't know what could be the cause and if it's gonna come back.

Idk how the AMD driver works, but can you choose between normal and premium FreeSync? If yes, then try normal.

Unfortunately i can't choose between those two, I can only activate or deactivate premium freesync from amd or from my monitor

Can you still enable FreeSync in your driver when disabling premium in the monitor?

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
