Hi forum, I'm looking for help with an issue that has been going on for a few months, and finally starting to annoy me greatly.

When I shut down my computer, it won't turn itself off. The OS shuts down, but it's like the rest of the computer won't - The fans keep spinning, and the lights won't turn off.

I've tried everything, but the only solution is holding down the power button until it turns off - This has begun to become a habit when turning off my pc, but it is still annoying nevertheless.

Has anyone got an idea about what the problem might be? I don't remember why/when it started happening..

After reading some reviews of your motherboard, i'd say that is the problem. That particular motherboard almost has more negative reviews than positive, which is very uncommon. Probably there is something thats melted on it, or a blown capacitor or similar, that makes it so it won't shut down automatically. Look on the board for physical damage. If you find some, try contacting asrock, but from the reviews I have seen that might turn out to be a shitty experience, so I guess it's up to you at that point if you are going to fight through support and warranty, or just buy a new mobo... But that is, if the mobo is the problem, I'm still not sure, but it looks like the board is the problem.
