Help choosing headphones

I need some help choosing some headphones as I am not sure what to get. The headphones will be used for listening to electronic music, some Top 40 music and will be used for gaming. My budget is £150.

OK, if you're in the US, I'd have suggested the CHC Silverado that's on sale on amazon, but unfortunately ships to US only. Those thing is a real beauty.

 

Other than that:

 

- Sony MDR-1R

- You actually have enough budget to get the HE400, which is very good, but in most cases, the HE400 need an amp

- Sony XB series, if you like bass

- V-moda M100

- Audio Technica AD series (get 500x or 700x. I don't think 900x is worth the price)

I'll throw in a shoe for the DT990 as it's priced quite nice. Could possibly benefit from a FiiO E6 in addition, which still remains under budget at current prices.

You know, it's really funny how some people gripe at us for hating on the M50's around here, but somehow the first few posts that have nothing in them but "M50 get" receive a pass.
