Concerned-ish

Go to solution Solved by tito,

I think that is SpeedStep or sth like that. It dynamically adjust frecuency and voltages according to the load.

Hey guys. I've recently been messing around with an old first gen i5 750 and noticed something that I think is odd. When I open CPU-Z, at idle, I notice the Core Voltage, Core Speed, and Multiplier jumping all over the place. Sometimes it will hit 3200mhz for a few seconds but the voltage will stay at 0.896V. Other times it'll be around 1300mhz and be around 1.1V. Is this anything to be concerned about? Or is it just doing its thing? Thanks.
