Has anyone experimented or is running 20+ TB HDD in a synology NAS?. I know using the nearly 1.5x cost branded HDD’s is a common answer i receive. More referring to WD or Seagate ect… 

 

I hear they do work but just arent “verified” by the NAS software?. 
 

Any truth to this & would love some clarification before buying 👍
