How to move files from an old(old) mobile phone?

I recently dusted off my ancient LG8110, back when phones all had their own proprietary chargers, so no charger to usb connection, and no SD card.

 

Are the files just imprisoned forever within the 2000s?

What type of files are we even talking about with such a phone, photos? If it can send email, you should be able to get them off the phone by sending them as attachments.

Bad teenage selfies, likely.

 

I'm not sure if was capable of email, or internet.. didn't this kind of phone require a working sim for that?

Didn't find anything definitive but it should be capable of email and internet, though I assume that means WAP pages given the era. But yeah, you would require a SIM since it doesn't come with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
