Ghosting/Tearing in Pop! OS

Anyone run into screen ghosting/tearing issues in Pop! OS lately? I've been fighting this for about a week after installing some updates, and I've googled myself into a brick wall.

Pop! OS version 22.04 LTS

NVIDIA driver version 550.67 for my RTX 3070.

It's been running like a dream for well over a year, but now I have constant ghosting and tearing both in-game and out (as in I can just move any window around the desktop and see both ghosting and tearing).

I isolated the problem to this one machine/OS connected via DisplayPort -- I have two other laptops (both Windows) connected via HDMI to the same ultra-wide monitor (ROG Strix XG49V) and neither exhibit any problems. The image is clear and smooth on both.
