A little fairytale game I'm making for a Game Jam - The Shadow of Shadows

The Shadow of Shadows

You are Lilith, a young shadow that wants to become a light. You decide to go to the Sun Palace to ask the Sun Queen how light is made.
As you enter the Palace you find some little creatures named Photons, they are really playful and like to fly around as fast as they can. You play with them a little before proceeding to the Throne Room. There, the Sun Queen tells you that light uses Protons as carriers but their final fate is either to be killed by some object they hit or be consumed by the Iris King. Lilith cannot believe such a cruel fate awaits these happy creatures. Will you help her find a solution?

 

 

DISCLAIMER: The game is still under heavy dev so expect lots of bugs! Any kind of feedback is appreciated though!

Controls are messy.  Couldn't figure out the "special item", then how to equip or use it.   

 

I don't see much gameplay, more of just some art style and each little person telling Lilith they are worried about her and love her and she's awesome. 

 

Is that the goal?  Self love and awareness?

Well, it's still 3 rooms. But the goal is to be a fairytale, it won't be a long deep game cause it's for a game jam. Thanks for the feedback though.
