A few years ago I built a pc and it was performing completely fine: however, after a nearly a year, I noticed that It would get a random stutter ever now and then where the pc would basically freeze for a second or more. Some days I get none, other days It goes crazy to the point where gaming is impossible.

Nothing is being pushed to 100%, the cpu runs at a cool 40-60°C, GPU runs at around the same temp. There is no sign of any stress on the system when this happens and it can happen at any time even in idle.

I've tried:

Reinstalling fresh windows 3 or 4 times.

Changing graphics card.

Changing display.

Changing display cable.

Installing all drivers.

Not installing all drivers.

Deleting software.

Changing M.2.

Overclocking ram, CPU, GPU.

Underclocking ram, CPU, GPU.

Increasing GPU cache.

Checking for bad blocks.

Updating Bios.

Reseating all components.

And more.

The only thing I've managed to detect is that when gaming, there will be random intervals where frame time would spike at the same time these stutters happen.

Specs:

I9 10900k

MSI Rtx 4080 suprim x

Asus z590 e gaming motherboard

Corsair Vengance 3600mhz ddr4 ram

Corsair PSU

Crucial P3 m.2

From my understanding, it's probably a hardware issue but why would it come and go?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
