ZFlip 3 Screen Funkyness

Hi fourm, i bought a Samsung Z Flip 3 from Kogan (Shame on me). it arrived with a strange situation where the battery would die almost immediatly off charge and both screens would freak out constantly. after sending it back they "Replaced the Battery and Screen". I will admit the battery works well now but when opening the screen i can see the lock screen appear but the screen cuts out anywhere between 140^o and 160^oand it means i need to lock my phone to then unlock it every single time i open the hinge. to me this sounds like a ribbon cable seating issue but i'm not sure if i should send the phone back a 2nd time?

Is there a way to stop the screen auto turning on when i open it so i can just unlock it once without the screen turning off from the hinge point?

Sending it back would probably be the best option. I noticed my z fold was having issues similar to this after owning it from new for 13 months and eventually the screen went blank and had to get it repaired.

I got quoted over $500 to get my screen repaired - Not worth the headache.
