I think it's sorted it's connecting now it just takes a bit but then it's fine

I bought this external drive dock and windows rarely detects it. Are there 2 cables in the back of it and are you plugging both in? Thinking one could be power and the other data

 

Either that or might need a driver update to get working or something similar?
