Intel Arc on AMD CPU / Arc Performance on Linux

Go to solution Solved by 8tg,

Modern AMD platforms all have resizable bar, amd calls it SAM, though sometimes you’ll just see “above 4g decoding”.

I think 400 series chipsets and onwards with ryzen 2000 series or newer have support for it.

Works the same, as long as the board supports it.

Arc runs fine on Linux, comparable to its windows driver counterpart, though without arc control software or the rgb software if you have an a770.

Arc's performance without resizable bar is significantly reduced, so will resize bar work with an Intel GPU on AMD CPU? Also how well does Intel Arc run on Linux?
