Where are gpu drivers stored?

Just wondering where gpu drivers are stored: on the ssd or on the gpu? This could help me troubleshoot a problem im having.

SSD.

 

The GPU has firmware that is stored on the card, but you don't update that unless you need to for a specific reason.

C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Installer2\ usually.
