Hi!

This is my first post on this forum ;)

I need some extra information about powerline adapters.

I wanna put the first one near my router/modem for the connection
The second one upstairs for my PC.

The third one outside for some external cameras.

Do i need to buy a set of 3 or can i just buy a set of 2 and expand later with a third one?

Does it matter if it is a other type?

Thanks in advance!!

You can buy 2 and add a third one later, as long as it's the same model.

Does it improve my internet connection that good? I'm on wireless now.

Also can I split 1 adapter in 2 cables?

Thanks in advance!

It won't be as good as a pure ethernet link but it will be better than Wi-Fi.

I'm not sure if you can but maybe someone can answer that, I don't want to provide you with fake information.

Yep I went from Wifi (N) to power line, to GigE, each time was a big performance jump each time

I switched to powerline adapters some time ago, the best decision I ever made. Now I have 3x the speed I was getting over Wireless N 5GHz.
