Also just found the Vonyx SM65s, which look pretty decent with 6.5” drivers, you know if Vonyx are decent at all?

I’ve seen a couple mixed reviews on certain edifier models, rather get another more reliable brand. Mackie’s look the best if I can find some used, the SM65s seem the best for the price.

Honestly, I have never heard of Vonyx.  Sounds like a knockoff of sorts

Id stick with Mackie if you like them.  The 3" ones new fit your budget and put out impressive sound, just lacking lower frequency.  You have the bass shakers tho.  The 5" are fantastic and enough low end to not need a sub for gaming, for me.

Hi there, a couple years ago I bought the Sanyun SW208s for about £50 on amazon, active speakers with 2.5” drivers and supposedly a 50W RMS (probably 25 each). Looking for a new set that’ll provide better quality for gaming and music.

I’m stuck at the moment between the Mackie CR4X, CR5X (if i can find them cheap enough, used condition maybe), and the Edifier MR4s. My budget is probably around £100, could possibly stretch to £110, but the cheaper the better.

Edit: Also just found the Vonyx SM65s, which look pretty decent with 6.5” drivers.

Would any of these even be much better than my current speakers for the price? Any other powered suggestions would be great, passive speakers not so much as my bass shaker’s amp can’t really drive my speakers at the same time. Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Yes.  Love the Mackie CR5BT's I have,  so the CR5X is just without Bluetooth which I never use anyway.   Edifier's are fantastic as well, a friend has a pair and loves them.

PreSonus makes very nice active monitors as well.
