Time to start programming...?

Hullo,

Cut the faffing and long intro, 

Should I get a raspberry pi to get into programming or continue on my laptop? (continue means I've learnt a few things here and there)

I do have a little guide just called "programming with beginners" so I will have a rough path to follow, mainly python. 

What's your experiences with the raspberry pi? yes or no?

 

I suppose I should add this in: if i get one, which model would be best, pi a or b?

It wouldn't hurt to venture into it.

 

Just depends on what you want to do. If you want to become a programmer.. Look into Ruby on rails. Fun and can lead to a good job.

Pi's are pretty darn cheap so it wouldn't hurt at all.

Give it a go.

Hmm...I suppose I will, in the time between writing the post and now, I've kinda convinced myself to just freaking get one. 

I suppose I was just looking to reaffirm my decision  :P
