As far as I can tell service host is quite the important process used by myriads of operations as it is tied to the OS itself; or something along the lines of that. So I'd assume its correlated with the actual usage of your other applications that is frequenting the disk. I wouldn't worry about it. Does your system feel physically slower than usual? I'm a bit skeptic because whether that's read or write speed it shouldn't too bad of an impact on your system's performance.
