Not really though? MHz =/= MT/s on an actual level? As in 3000MHz will be 6000MT/s?

Or am i confused?

This confusion arises from intel's 14500 blog.In which they tells that I5 14500 max DDR5 ram support is 4800 MT/s, thats why I confused because I decided to pair it with 6000MH/z DDR5 ram pls help

So my understanding is that MT/s is the speed the RAM is advertised to run at by 99% of companies, i.e. 6000CL30 ram runs 6000MT/s but as its double data rate, it does 2 transfers per tick or hert, so 6000Mt/s RAM will be running at 3000MHz.

However companies advertise it as 6000MHz incorrectly as it is effectively running at that speed, but it isnt, not in reality

Therefore your 6000MHz RAM, if it truly is 6000, then it would be running at 12000MT/s or something along the lines of 12000CL30 which isnt possible, at least, currently.

Id assume the 4800MT/s is max JEDEC timings in MT/s for RAM but overclocking to 6000 (i.e. XMP) is fine as thats expected to run fine

To answer your question very directly and what im assuming DoctorNick was getting at, yes 6000 is fine for you to run at and is expected by both RAM and CPU manufacturers

I understand that if I pair my I5 14500 with 6000 MHz the it will utilise all it's performance and who is DoctorNick

Ok but as per DoctorNick He said that mt/s = mhz then how 4800 mt/s = 6000 mhz 🤨

4800Mt/s is the JEDEC speed of some DDR5 RAM

6000MHz RAM currently does not exist in the actual sense of RAM MHz
