Is there a problem with my graphics card?

I recently bought an rtx 4070 super. I noticed when I load up dead space, fps is in the 60's. After I die, it stays in the 80's. I just ran the cyberpunk benchmark a few times

The first time I ran it, fps was low but after this, when I run it fps is higher and stable.

Some guy asked this same thing yesterday...  No your GPU isn't a problem.  It's the game.

But what about cyberpunk? The first benchmark had large fps drops but after this it is fine.

if it was loading some assets during first benchmark, and was finished during the second one, that's your reason

So is this an issue with the cpu or gpu? Is this normal?

What is your entire PC spec list?

You realize with out actual numbers or screenshots, we can't know anything?  Just saying "it was higher" means nothing to us.

 

Did you have something going on in the background the first time?  The foreground?  Machine still booting up?  Hard to say.

Ok so I have an i9 900 non k, 48 gb ram. The first rime I run the benchmark for cyberpunk after loading the game, fps drops to the low 40's and goes up to the mid 50's.  Average is 53. No matter how many times I run the benchmark after this, fps consistently remains above 55, with an average of 58. Games are being run off an external ssd. The pc has been running for a while.

I just find it odd that I have the same issue with dead space except that this is actual gameplay and not a benchmark.

I also did a passmark gpu tesr, score was 25,000. Average is 30000 for this gpu. I am going to try a clean install of the driver.

Installing the graphics driver again did not help. Any advice guys?

Intel i9 9900. Sorry, it is running of internal drive samsung 970 evo.

Ok so after reinstalling the drivers and removing geforce experience, seems to be fine now. Thanks for your help.
