I thought it would be an Nvidia vs AMD post, but if it's 2 different tier gpus from nvidia, just choose the one your budget allows, and you think is worth it. Also i'm pretty sure the 4070 super can ray trace just fine

I would pick the RTX 4070 Ti Super. Its in the middle of these two GPU's and is quite decently priced for its performance.

Just so you know but neither of these does high fps 4k wihout a good bit of dlss at high settings.

 

So id just pick the 4070ti and crank up dlss

4070Ti doesn't make a lot of sense since 4070 Super is perfect for 4K WITH DLSS

Itll make sense in the long run really.

 

Basicallg you need dlss now. Heavy dlss at that. Dlss wont keep being a cheatcode ro get more fps forever so getting higher base power is also important.

 

That and vram 12gb for 4k is not much at all 16gb is really the baseline

Not sure why people game on ultra settings, as it's for videos to sell the game and screenshots.

If only these 2 options, #2, for playing in 1080p high 200+ fps...and running Stable Diffusion and LLMs, since the more VRAM (16GB vs 4070s' 12GB) the better for AI.
