I want to do a high end build but am somewhat new,I bought a prebuilt a few years back but I am not looking to do my own build here’s the parts that I am looking to get if anyone could tell if I’m making any major mistakes please let me know,

CPU: Amd Ryzen 9 79503xD

CPU cooler:iCUE LINK H150i LCD Liquid CPU Cooler

Motherboard:ROG Crosshair X670E Hero

Ram- ddr5 Dominator Titantium

SSD:not sure yet I’m thinking Samsung

GPU: 4090

Fans:iCUE LINK QX120 RGB 120mm PWM PC Fans Starter Kit with iCUE LINK System Hub

Power supply: also not sure yet

Case:Hyte Y70

it seems like according to some other forums people say the motherboard I have picked out is mid others say it’s way over priced and some say it’s completely worth it money isn’t an issue but If I don’t have to overpay then that would be great.any help would be greatly appreciated

Very interesting I had seen some stuff saying this processor was better for gaming but I just wasn’t sure,do you know if I’ll have to hunt down a completely different motherboard to support it?

If I was going to run a build using an AIO then the Lancool 216 is tough to beat .. that and I detest those fish tank cases such as the Hytes and 011's. They're a niche case with crappy airflow.  Replace the 140mm exhaust fan that's included with this case with the 140mm ARGB fan down below.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: *AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor  ($369.00 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: *Deepcool LT720 85.85 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  ($119.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: *MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard  ($279.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: *G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory  ($112.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: *Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive  ($166.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: *Gigabyte GAMING OC GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB Video Card  ($1799.99 @ B&H)
Case: *Lian Li LANCOOL 216 ATX Mid Tower Case  ($99.99 @ B&H)
Power Supply: *be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 1200 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply  ($149.90 @ Amazon)
Case Fan: *Lian Li UNI FAN SL V2 77.6 CFM 140 mm Fan  ($29.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $3128.83

A better look at that psu, AIO and case.

Add this to that case.

And you end up with something like this.

Any am5 board should be purchased for the features, as any can run even the most high end cpu.

Plus just get the 7800x3d unless you enjoy overspending.

Gigabyte makes great b650 boards, look at the AORUS Elite and Pro AX lines imo.

Others haven given great advice, I won't repeat.  I'll just say I agree with them.
