Hello!

I have problems with my laptop.

The laptop is an Acer Nitro 5 that has a RTX 3070 Graphics card and an Intel Core I7. Whenever I try to make use of the graphics card the whole computer crashes. For example I could be playing Fortnite with even low graphics and 100% 3D resolution, after approximately 30-45 minutes the computer crashes and I cant play a game until it cools down. This has been happening since I received it. I am able to play the game but as long as 3D Resolution is below 60% and is at the lowest graphics possible. During the time when I play or what I view as using the graphics card I hear a high pitched 'whirring' noise emitting from the computer and it isn't the fans. Any possible ways I could play Fortnite with high graphics since I have the 3070. Also are there any settings I can use in NVIDIA Control Panel or GeForce Experience

So the computer is overheating? If that's the case it would need to be taken apart and repasted at the minimum.

You said it's been happening since you received it, is it a recent purchase? Was it purchased brand new or used?
