750 vs 850 vs 1000w for new build

kpaq00

So partpicker says my estimated wattage is 710W. My build as is uses a 850w PSU, but is that too little? Should I go higher?

I saw something that said the best solution is estimated x 1.5; so should I go for a 1000w PSU over a 850? Or maybe even the next tier up from 1000?

Thanks

Indicated max draw is 710W, so a 750W PSU will be at its limits, a 850W will do, but I recommend 1000W to have some headroom, better efficiency and be quieter

At this point, everything for the build is purchased except the PSU.

I'm always open to suggestions though. 🙂
