Budget (including currency): Around 850/900€ (close to 1000 USD)

Country: Portugal

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft, FPS Games, Fifa, IntelliJ IDE, other programming tools...

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'll be needing most peripherals (except mouse) but I'm mainly focusing all the money on building the actual pc. I'm upgrading from a Lenovo Laptop and I'm looking at building something around the ryzen 5 7600 X processor, possibly paired up with a GPU like the rtx 3080 10/12GB. So basically a "mid range" pc, that can play well with high settings. I've already been choosing parts, based on videos around that budget, but I'm open for better suggestions. My main query is that, while looking at buying a second-hand 3080, I stumbled upon a 450 USD (415€ + 30€ shipping) Dell OEM GPU with excellent, ebay refurbished approved, condition. Is it a good deal compared to a 400€ + 50€ shipping FE or should I find a better 3rd party GPU?

I havent followed your used queries at all, but just made up a build with only the budget as a restriction to give you an idea of part cost, thats a decent build for close to 850EUR and all parts will be new and have warranties

If you can manage that 3080, thats a big upgrade to the gpu i have in here, and the one i have in here is pretty good to begin with

But you might be spending more than your budget in that case as you wont want a less powerful cpu just to be able to get a more powerful gpu

However, that is very good for the price
