Flashing red distorted screen

I recently ran into an issue with my pc it froze wit no warning and shutdown after I restarted it the screen started flashing red with a distorted gigabyte loading screen then goes to black. I have tried another video card that I know works but it does the same exact thing I am aiming for a faulty motherboard but I do not know. Any ideas on what could be causing this issue? The motherboard is a gigabyte B450m DS3H. Any help would be appreciated.
