Okay so, I bought a 4070 ti super on launch, I got it, it was defective and i returned it. after waiting a whole month, I got my refund and I bought a different kind(zotac holo). This time when I had it all plugged in, in it caught on fire. keep in mind I triple checked power cables. I took it out immediately and tried booting it without the gpu and my system is fine. Is it my motherboard? is it the gpu? power supply? cords? Should I start my 30 day return and just suck it up for another month? It took me so long to save for my computer and im just so upset right now.

Sounds like it could be the PSU cords or an adapter. Did you need a 16 pin adapter?

This is the adapter it came with. So as a person does I plugged all three in.

I could have been wrong? It didn't come with clear instructions for the cables. My cables did work completely fine for my last graphics card. And it booted fine (i posted about my issues with the last one)

Based on the second photo alone I am not keeping this and it will be returned asap, I didn't get a look at the damage. I'm going to assume whatever caught fire was responsible

It's likely a problem with the card, also considering nothing else is damaged. So def RMA your video card.
