They (mom) say their wireless mouse (including USB Dongle) and keyboard they currently have are all right. But everything else would be new.
Case, Display, etc would all have to be new. I would like to get a 1440P display for them just so it's easier for them to see things at a high refresh rate, so it *feels* better.
I hope to give them my current GPU (A 3090*) once I buy the one I plan to get and stick with for the rest of my PC's lifetime. Honestly, as everything else has passed, it will be overkill.
So, putting more of the upfront cash into CPU and Storage would be better. I know the smart thing would be getting a Zen 4 MB, but I would like to give them room to grow and not be forever stuck with one system that they can't upgrade.

I want to give them my GPU as my other family members are still in school and plan to go into film editing so having something that could handle it better then a chrome book would be good (I found my brother trying to get blender onto a chrome book and stopped him lol) so having something with power would help them a lot.

The plan is to stick it into this little cubby, drill holes in the back of the desk, and pass cables up through there. The display would need to be able to fit between the desk and the cabinet above, as well as not run into the printer.

* My 3090 has some bad V-Ram, and I've had the idea of sending it to LTT for a video (I'll submit video idea submissions), and if that's just no good. Where may one (and again, I'll make another submission for the proper room) be able to perhaps get their V-Ram fixed by a reputable repair shop? I just don't think there'd really be any places that'd do it over here, and I bought it from New Egg, so I don't think a warranty really transferred.
