Antec signature 1000w platinum, is this a good PSU ?

Hi, i have Antec true power 750w running good from last 12 years. but now it seems to show its age and the system restarts randomly.

Running Gtx 1080 Ti. 

 

I got a good offer on Amazon, and i bought it for $160. ($250 regular price).

I have been reading Antec is not the same company as it was ~10  years ago, and i couldn't find any trusted reviews of this model. 

Should i complete the purchase or cancel this ?

 

Also planning to upgrade GPU in future.

Yes. The Antec signature 1000w platinum is a fantastic PSU and is on the A:Tier list on the PSU Tierlist, this is the highest rating for PSU's
