Pc cannot reboot properly

 

I have a pc with an MSI z87 g43 motherboard and recently got an i7 4790k to use with it.

 

I updated the bios to version 1.8 and it works but the pc is unable to reboot properly. 

 

If i try to reboot it, it turns back on and the fans spin but the usb peripherals and monitors receive no signal. 

 

I always have to turn the pc completely off and back on again and this is making it difficult to install windows on the pc.
