Usually Linux has a wide support for many drivers so unless you have some sort of battery issues than you do not need anything. What distro are you using? If you do have issues with battery life than you can check out the TLP tool which is focused on saving battery, here is more info on it from the arch wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/TLP

Note that the info from the arch wiki is not solely for Arch Linux(except its installation), it sounds like your new to Linux so I am going to assume that you are using some sort of debian based distro, here are the commands for installing it. Make sure not to just blindly copy the commands and actually understand them:

Commands are for debian linux you can check how to install TLP for other distro at: https://linrunner.de/tlp/installation/index.html

# deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian DIST-backports main
# apt install tlp tlp-rdw

"#" means to run it as root

if you have a thinkpad refer to the website
