Pc upgrade help

Hi, i'm looking to upgrade/replace my current pc.

DeepCool LS720 SE Liquid Cooler 360mm

I don't want to spend too much, if i can use most of the parts. I don't know if the ryzen 5 5600x worth buy because the price of CAD$190 or i buy something more powerful or i spend more in a motherboard to upgrade when i have the money. And is possible to use the DDR4 for this new plataform? Will affect performance too much?
I have a Seasonic PRIME 1300W 80+ Platinum for power supply, then power is no problem.
