Remote connection with a layman - which software is easiest?

I am trying to help a 40 something lady with her computer.

problem is - she's a novice user at best. She can open Gmail and Word - nothing more fancy than that.

I am looking for a software which I can connect remotely to her PC so I can help.

Which do you guys recommend?

Ease of use than security I guess.

I need to be able to tell her how to DOWNLOAD the app and RUN it.

So it needs to be rather easy.

Thanks SO MUCH!

For better or worse, TeamViewer still has the lowest barrier to entry. Their "QuickSupport" host should present the user with the fewest options, so getting it running should be as simple as "run this, read me the ID number and password it says so I can connect".

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

thank you so much.

so if they download the QuickSupport one, which should I download? The full client?

Correct. You download the full client.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
