HP Omen Transcend 14 vs Acer Swift x 14 (2024) I need some help choosing.

This is my first post in the forum and I've been wracking my head around which machine to choose from. For me the 2 important things latest generation CPU and GPU configs and they both rock an OLED panel. Ok honestly the OLED panel is really a want and I don't need a color accurate screen but it's enticed me enough to scout these machines out.

I'll be daily driving this as a creative machine for 3D programming and to enjoy that sweet sweet HDR content. So lets get into the differences of the 2.

Beginning w/ the HP machine.

Pros:

Great cooling

have an option for 2 different colors (at $20 USD difference cost)

With my employer I get $375 discount on the machine buying it through HP

Can order it now

Cons:

No expansion for extra SSDs as far as I could see from the latest CES 2024 coverage

Haven't had the greatest experience w/ HP

Next w/ the Acer Machine.

Pros:

Has an extra M.2 slot for memory (comparing to last year's model)

Finger print sensor on the power button for window's hello.

Had a good experience with Acer so far.

Cons:

Not as great of cooling (again comparing to last year's model) Really wished Alex opened up the machine at CES...

Said to release in Feb but has still not shown up on the acer's online store

With that, I think both machines are great on paper and the budget is there for them but it's kinda hard to decide on which one. Could y'all share your opinions, it would be very helpful.

Also extra question.... should I pay extra for windows pro license?
