Can you take a picture and did you pull out the plastic dust cap on each end before trying to install?

Hey guys,

I re-did the whole network at my parents house and now because fiber box sits much farther than before, I need atleast 3m long fiber cable (it's 2m now).

I have photographed both ends of the cable. Can someone please tell me what this cable is? SC/LC APC/UPC and etc...
I have bought 3m SC APC UPC cable (blue and green) that I thought would work and it doesn't fit. The middle part seems to be too large to fit.
The pictures attached are of the old working 2m cable.

Thanks!!!

Can you link the new cable you bought?

SC/APC to SC/UPC seems to be what you need based on the pics of the old cable.

That should work. Each side is Keyed with a notch for proper alignment and you should feel a tactile click or 2 when you insert it in to know its fully seated.

These little white plastic caps on the ends in this picture need to be removed, just pull them off.

It's all good, they're a pain to notice sometimes and if you're not sure if they can be pulled out then it's even worse but yah glad it was a simple fix 😄
