PC doesn't go above 570~mbps, used the same cable on my laptop and it had no issue going to 800 - 900 mbps, brought a Buitrea 2.5 Gbps controller that uses a realtek chip, installed drivers but still no luck.

Changed the "speed & duplex setting already to auto, 2.5Gbps but still not getting the 800 - 900 mbps like i did with the laptop, I have a Gigabyte A320M-S2H, specification on Gigabyte official website says it should do 1000mbps.

Is there a software I need to install or setting changed, looked in bios already and nothing that says anything about ethernet connection.

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Specs below

Ryzen 5 3600

RX 6700XT

Corsair CP-9020094-UK RM1000x

A320M-S2H

Corsair 16gb DDR4 3600

Windows 10

This sounds like some ethernet "booster" or speed boost software is installed or some Gigabyte application is doing QoS "for gaming" that got a setting turned on.

Found this on Gigabyte website(link below)

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-A320M-S2H-rev-1x#kf

it has "realtek gbe lan with cfosspeed internet accelerator software" do you think this could be causing the issue?

That could definitely cause issues.

Try uninstalling cfosspeed and see if anything changes.

No, look into it I don't have it installed maybe thats the issue but it seems abit odd if that was the issue.

I am not keeping this motherboard and CPU for much longer anyways already had it for 3+ years, so hopefully when I upgrade the issue isn't there anymore.

Thank you for trying to help kind stranger 🙂
