i have a question

Hello everyone,

I have a question for all of you. I want to build gaming pc with Xeon E5-2697 v3. After i made a research I found some of the components that I'll use. 

CPU: Itel Xeon E5-2697 v3

Motherboard: ASUS X99-PRO/USB 3.1 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1139023-REG/asus_x99_pro_usb_3_1_x99_pro_usb_3_1.html

RAM: non-ECC 32gb (4x8gb) or (8x4gb)

GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 8gb 

Storage: 1tb m.2 nvme ssd + 500gb SATA HDD (i have one at home)

Power supply: 550W

 

1. Will a bottleneck occur?

2. Is there another motherboard i can buy?

3. Will it work right will non-ECC RAM?

4. Will I need powerfull PSU?

5. How much fps will i get at the end?

Is there a reason why you want to build with that CPU? DO you have it already? Are you getting it cheap? Its not really a great gaming chip either.

 

Generally I'd go with the v4 chips as there simmilar prices used now, and a moderate amount faster.

 

It should be ok performance wise in games, hard to estimate without thew game, settings, and more.

I want this CPU because its cheaper and has similar performance to v4. I thing that the motherboard supports v3 and v4 so it wont be a problem if i buy v4 chip. I don't have the Cpu but i have found one online for about 40$. I know there are cheaper options on ebay but when you add the shipping it gets more expensive (I live in Bulgaria).

How much are you gettng the board for? Typically thats the pricy part with these used platforms.

Well it should be around 175$.
